Preparing & Caring for Lash Lift & Tint

Preparing & Caring for Lash Lift & Tint

Updated: Aug 7, 2019

I am so excited that you will be or are considering getting a Lash Lift & Tint with me! If you aren't quite sure what the process entails, CLICK HERE for all the details.

Here are a few things to remember before your appointment.

If you wear contact lenses, please do not wear them to your appointment. Your eyes have to remain closed for about 30 minutes, which usually causes irritation for contact lens wearers. We also want to make sure that we can easily flush your eyes if any product were to accidentally get into your eyes. This is very rare but can happen and contact lenses will get in the way of properly flushing the eyes if it becomes necessary.

Make sure to arrive with clean eyes free of mascara, concealer, foundation, eyeshadow, etc. Makeup residue can affect results!

Do not consume caffeine a few hours prior to your appointment. Caffeine can make the eyes flutter, which can negatively affect your results.

Avoid curling your natural lashes for 24 hours before your appointment.

Do not use a lash growth serum they day of your appointment or 24 hours after.

AFTER CARE

DO

USE A LASH SERUM to enhance your results with longer and stronger lashes. BUT, wait 24 hours after your appointment.I recommend this lash serum: http://bit.ly/2vk4gR1

Make sure to be very careful when applying lash serum and to ONLY get it on your lash line.

DON'T

DO NOT WET your lashes for 24 hours after the appointment

DO NOT SLEEP with your face on your pillow. You must sleep on your back for 24 hours. Your lashes are prone to kinks within 24 hours after the procedure.

DO NOT PULL your lashes. This can cause your natural lashes to fall out prematurely and cause both breakage and permanent damage to the hair follicle
