CryoSkin is a great option for slimming down and getting rid of fat, diminishing cellulite, toning loose skin, and building collagen and elastin to help shrink pores and diminish fine lines, wrinkles, and uneven skin tone. The closer you follow the protocol we decide on with you, the better your results will be! Here is a general guide for getting ready for your appointment as well as what to do afterwards...


CryoSlimming:

• For best results, avoid all kinds of sugar & carbs for 4 - 5 hours before and after your CryoSlimming session.

• This applies to all kind of sugars (fruit, pasta, rice, bread, cereals...) and of course simple starches and sugars. We recommend sticking with just protein and veggies for the day.

• The cold weakens and retracts the adipocyte [fat storage cell]. Consuming sugar will return immediate energy to these cells, so the apoptosis [cell death] effect will be less efficient and can even be canceled.

• Wear something comfortable and accessible to the area to be treated. We will have a gown for you to change into unless you prefer to wear your own clothes.

• The lymphatic system takes 15 days to complete an entire cycle. Results will improve over the 2 weeks following the session. Additional slimming sessions can be completed 2 weeks after a treatment. (Toning sessions can be performed more often.)

• Avoid exercise directly before a session. It will be harder to cool the body down and complete the slimming effectively.

• For best results, maintain the best possible diet and lifestyle to accompany the treatment.

• Drink at least half of your body weight in ounces every day. If you already do this, up your water by two glasses per day. This aids your lymphatic system in flushing out more efficiently.

• If you have access to an infrared sauna, it is recommended to let yourself sweat inside of one of these 72 hours following your slimming session.

• You may experience cloudy urine as your lymphatic system gets rid of fat cells that were killed off during your session. You may also have sore muscles in treatment area the next day and slightly pink skin following treatment.

CryoFacial:


Please make sure to arrive with no makeup on so we can do a proper skin assessment and so you see the best possible results.

• Wear something comfortable and accessible to your face, neck, and décolleté area. We will have a gown for you to change into unless you prefer to wear your own clothes.

• If you have had Botox in the last 30 days, or fillers in the last 60 days, we will need to reschedule your appointment to a later date.

• If you have had any other abrasive skin treatments recently, please make sure your skin is fully healed before we see you.

• Your skin may be a little pink afterwards, but that will clear up within a couple of hours.

• Please refrain from sun exposure for the day of your treatment.

• A healthy diet, plenty of water, good sleep habits, and exercise all contribute to the health of your skin. We can discuss a great game plan for you when we see you!


CryoToning:


• Wear something comfortable and accessible to the area to be treated. We will have a gown for you to change into unless you prefer to wear your own clothes.

• Your skin may be a little pink afterwards, but that will clear up within a couple of hours.

• We highly recommend staying completely away from sugar if your goals are to tone and tighten the skin. Sugar sabotages collagen production and contributes to tissue damage that can lead to cellulite.

• Other than staying away from sugar, there aren't any day-of food restrictions.

• A series of sessions may be necessary to achieve your desired results.
